Stay away from this, I just attended several services and they are way off and unclear in their teachings they all revolve around this "special way oof salvation" I told the pastor that was given the conference and told him that sanctification is a process the Bible teaches that. We are admonished over and over to seek holiness, Jesus said we need to follow His commandments, we can do it through the Holy Spirit. So the concept of one time sanctification is not Biblical. Why Paul the apostol say to present our bodies as a living sacrifice? You can't find this concept of the flesh is wicked don't worry about it, the Spirit is perfect. Doesn't the Bible says present your body and soul Holy? Gnosticism with a twist man

I have attended some of the seminars they teach, they don't teach about sanctification, they also believe in the false teaching of Joe Olsteen, so if you are poor you haven't believed if you are sick is because you haven't believe in the Word, explain that to Stephen on the Bible, or Paul that was sick and all the martyrs throughout History. They also confused me on salvation, salvation is not hidden to a certain group or interpretation, I talk to the pastor for almost an hour, he wanted me to say that I was as Holy as God. I told him I couldn't said that God is by nature Holy I am made Holy through Christ. The whole theology is confusing they don't divide the Word rightly I have listen to their many sermons and they all revolve around this special salvation. Once you study the Bible in context you can't be deceived easily please look for sound doctrine.

Just because a you defend something, doesn't mean it’s "proof" that he/she is guilty of it.

Shouldn’t anyone try and defend what they love and like?

I saw a similar IYF Korea Camp poster from where I live in America for a couple years ago, and nothing suspicious happened?

It was free, like the poster said, and they provided Korean street food for lunch, like kimbap and such. “Mind lecture” was introduced as education on how to stay healthy mentally; we had a 30-minute lecture that used America’s redwood tree forest to demonstrate the importance of having strong, healthy connections with the people we love. Overall, it was fun.

If you’re on the fence about this event, I’d say try it. If you’re worried, let someone know where you are or bring them with you, but according to the research in this article, IYF doesn’t sound particularly dangerous. The accusations of it being a cult seem to be centered around a conflict in religious beliefs, nothing life-threatening. Again, the camp that I went to was held at on church grounds, but I had a great time and no problems.

It made me worry at first, reading your post but I did my own research afterwards. This post is full of misleading information.

The word Salvation Sect, Gu Won Pa, is known for the one who you mentioned, Yoo Byoung-eon and his accusations.

Now, just because the IYF founder, Ock Soo Park’s teaching may be similar to his, this doesn’t also make him that Salvation Sect. You said it yourself, “although they are completely separate groups.”

I just red it now. I feel it so weird. I mean why do people need to ship their idols to its same sex. Which I never experienced in every fandom I was belong before.

This survey did not aim to study the Korean culture, but the global K-Pop fandom culture. We are not talking about Koreans but about international K-Pop fans, who appear to share anti-racism as their number 1 value.
